Soul is the life force of the body and all its cells. God gives us a portion of His spirit when we are born again. So, when a person dies, their soul ceases to exist and their spirit “returns” to God. Verses: Gen. 1:20, 24, 30; 2:7; 9:10; Lev. 24:18; Acts 2:18; Eccl. 12:7 Teacher: John Schoenheit
